International Children's Folklore Festival "Licidersko srce" was organized 8th times in Serbia, till now. So far, about 6000 children from Serbia and 34 other countries have participated in the festival.

It is often held during the third week of August in Uzice and very popular touristic destinations in Western Serbia and Bosnia and Hercegovina. The organizer of this manifestation is NGO "ERA" from town Uzice. Besides children from Serbia, participants are also children and groups from all over the world. There are usually 10 foreign ensembles and about 20 groups from Serbia. It's about 1000 children (10 to 16 years age) that participate in the festival every year. Festival is on CIOFF list of festivals and works on it rules.

From the very beginning, the festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia. Due to the importance and the influence that the festival has in the expansion of friendly relations among nations and countries, the patron of the festival is the president of the Republic of Serbia.

The main goals of the festival are: the promotion of cultural cooperation of children community, the strengthening the friendly connections between the countries, and fostering multiculturalism and multi-ethnicity.

Besides folklor concerts, parades and street animations, there are many interesting activities during all five festival days. Some of them are: the exibition of national costumes of the participating countries, folklore workshops, international seminar for choreographers and folklor teachers, humanitarian action, touristic visits, concerts of popular singers (artists), poterry workshop, Fair EXPOUZICE....

The media partner is National TV - RTS, and festival has very big media attention.
